We are committed to protecting people from serious injury and have developed an extensive health and safety system in order to achieve continual improvements in our health and safety culture. Our written policies document our commitment towards health and safety for all workers, subcontractors, visitors and others which are demonstrated through effective leadership.
Our people are key to our success and are vital for ensuring we Think Safe, Work Safe so we go Home Safe. We provide extensive in-house education such as competency programmes as well as formal qualifications. This ensures our people are supported in achieving their full potential and to create a positive workplace health and safety culture.
To ensure we fulfill our commitments to health and safety we employ our own dedicated Health and Safety Manager who continually develops our systems, conducts audits and inspections, regular on-site and office based performance reviews, and works closely with our construction teams to offer advice and guidance on good practice.
Our commitment to health and safety is further demonstrated by our accreditation to SiteWise and our membership to Civil Contractors New Zealand (CCNZ).
